Windows public beta

Secure Pair Transfer

Private chat and encrypted file transfer for two people who already trust each other. Pair once, keep the contact saved, and drag files into the conversation when you need to move something securely.

Version 0.2.9 Windows 10/11 Unsigned beta build

Built around direct trusted pairs.

Secure Pair is designed for one person to invite another specific person, then keep that saved connection available for future chats and transfers.

End-to-end encrypted payloads

Chat messages and file contents are encrypted between paired clients. The relay moves encrypted traffic and is not designed to read message or file contents.

Guest-friendly pairing

A licensed user can invite a trusted contact. That contact can keep reconnecting to the inviter, while inviting additional contacts requires their own license.

Minimal relay storage

Transfers are streamed through the relay where possible instead of being kept as server files. Account, license, update, and connection metadata still exist where needed.

A familiar chat window for secure transfers.

The app keeps saved contacts on the left, conversation and transfer activity in the middle, and setup controls close by without making the normal flow feel technical.

  • Saved contacts reconnect without creating a fresh invite each time.
  • Drag and drop files into the conversation.
  • In-app update checks keep beta testers on the latest build.

Public beta, manual licenses for now.

Secure Pair is still changing quickly. Beta licenses are currently issued manually while we finish the purchase flow, account system, and code signing path.

What to expect in beta

  • The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows may show an unknown publisher warning.
  • Use Secure Pair only with people you trust and files you are allowed to send.
  • Keep important files backed up outside the app before testing large transfers.
  • Large transfer behavior is being tuned, with the current target set for big file sessions.
A beta license does not remove your responsibility for the files you send or receive. Do not use Secure Pair for illegal content, malware, harassment, or anything you do not have permission to transfer.
